Five-year-old JASIZZLE adds another easy win to his record. He scored his eighth victory in a Presque Isle Downs 5 1/2-furlong allowance race. JASIZZLE broke sharply to take the lead. He led throughout and finished in front by a length and a half. To date, JASIZZLE has earned $315,464, with 8 wins, 8 seconds and 4 third place finishes. The graded stakes-placed gelding by JAZIL is a homebred for owner and trainer Tommy Ray Mills.

Making only her second stakes start, the 4-year-old filly by JAZIL tracked the pacesetter from the start in this 6 1/2-furlong sprint, began her rally through the final turn and continued to battle willingly through the stretch to the finish at Hastings Racecourse. Bred by E-Racing.Com out of Sister Shark, by Straight Man, JAZ UNLIMITED has finished on the board in 19 of her 24 starts and has won on both dirt and turf.

Coming off solid works for his debut, JAZZY SUN set the pace from the outset and maintained the advantage to the wire winning a Maiden Special Weight at Arlington Park by one length. Racing six furlongs on the all-weather track, the 3-year-old son of JAZIL seized the lead from another shortly after the break, was challenged nearing the top of the stretch but eventually widened his margin to 2 1/2 lengths and remained in front to the wire. JAZZY SUN is a Kathleen Halleran homebred out of the Temperence Hill mare, Sunflower Hill.

Going 5 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Gulfstream, EXTREME EXCESS tracked the top pair for the first quarter, then took command three furlongs out and kept to task for a 3 1/4-length score. The juvenile daughter of JAZIL had placed in two previous outings, all at Gulfstream. Out of the In Excess mare Onetwomanyfavors, EXTREME EXCESS is the first winner from three juvenile starters for her sire so far this year.

FARHAAN won for the third time in his last four starts, all stakes, after he rolled to a 3 1/4-length victory in Saratoga’s 1 1/8-mile Alydar S. The son of JAZIL raced at the back for the first half mile, really picked up the pace going around the far turn, swept to the front as they turned for home and drew away. Finishing behind FARHAAN were several multiple GSWs, including G1 winner Alpha. His previous two stakes wins in this stretch are the Stymie S. and the Lord of the Night S. which he won by five lengths. Horse of the Year in Venezuela in 2012, COMEDIANTE will go down in Venezuelan Thoroughbred racing lore after his record 38 1/2-length win in the 86th running of the Clásico Internacional Fuerza Armada Bolivariana (G1) at Hipodromo La Rinconada, just outside Caracas. Entering the straight away with a 12-length lead with jockey Leonel Reyes Ramos aboard, the son of JAZIL from his first crop continued to stretch his margin to the wire in this 3200-meter event on the main dirt track. His margin of victory surpasses that of the great Venezuela Champion and Horse of the Year Trinycarol who won this race in 1983 by 25 lengths. He now has won or placed in eight graded events, including winning four G1s and has a lifetime record of nine wins, five seconds and a third from 17 career starts. The durable and consistent ASLIGIBI won the 10th race of her career taking a 2100-meter race on the dirt at Ankara. It was her 46th start which has spanned over four racing seasons. A daughter of JAZIL, the Champion Imported 2-Year-Old Filly in Turkey has also placed an additional 19 times of those 46 starts. ASLIGIBI was bred in Kentucky by Rick Nichols & Bernie Sams out of the Dixieland Band mare, Tajannub.

After being away from the races for 301 days, the son of JAZIL from his first crop broke from the far outside in a field of 12 racing 2400 meters over the main track at Hipodromo La Rinconada. Sitting in fourth position as they hit the top of the stretch, COMEDIANTE then showed his true class and closed through the stretch to be going away at the wire. JAZIL was represented by three individual winners across the U.S. on Sunday. JAZIL BELL raced near the pace to break his maiden by a neck in a game effort going 1 1/6 miles over the turf at Ellis Park. The top pair were six lengths clear of the rest of the field. He is a 3YO son of JAZIL out of the Elnadim mare Ella Belle. UNTIL YOU scored in his first start in nearly nine months, winning an allowance at Emerald Downs, six furlongs on the dirt. JASIZZLE broke on top and led gate to wire to finish first by 7 3/4 lengths in the $100,000 Senator Robert C. Byrd Memorial S. on the undercard of the West Virginia Derby. The 4-year-old son of JAZIL collided with the runner-up coming out of the starting gate and was eventually placed second. Just two races back, JASIZZLE was a gallant runner-up, beaten only a neck, in Churchill Downs’ Grade 3 Aristides S. In that race, he dueled for the lead from the start, put away his challenger to gain the lead in midstretch and then battled to the wire for a narrow loss. JASIZZLE has now won or placed in six of eight starts this year and had racked up career earnings of over $214,000.

A winner here in late May, RAZZLE JAZIL followed that up with an impressive three-length win at 1 1/8 miles on the turf at Delaware Park. Making his stakes debut, SWEET LITTLE MAN placed in the $150,000 Victoria Park S. at Woodbine, a springboard to the Queen’s Plate. Racing 1 1/8 miles on the all-weather track, the 3-year-old colt from the second crop of JAZIL stalked the pace in the early going, swung three wide on the far turn and ran on to the wire. He was nearly seven lengths in front of the next-placed horse. SWEET LITTLE MAN has had solid runner-up finishes in his two other starts this year. Racing 1 1/2 miles on the turf, this 4-year-old homebred colt made a sweeping five wide move around the final turn and continued to finish strong through the stretch, beaten less than a length. It was 6 1/2 lengths back to the next horse. NAJJAAR had previously closed from last to place in the $125,000 Arlington Classic S. in 2012, beaten only 2 1/2 lengths. Runner-up in his first start after a long layoff, Southern Hemisphere 3-year-old COLLATINO made his next start a winning one taking this five-furlong maiden event on the dirt by 3 1/4 lengths at Monterrico, in Peru. A multiple winner on dirt and turf, the 4-year-old filly by JAZIL won for the sixth time in her career when she took this 1900-meter event on the dirt at Izmir. Coming from near the back of the pack, ASLIGIBI put in a closing kick down the center of the track to catch the frontrunner and win by 1/2 length. Rated in third in the early going after a clean break from post five, AWLEYAA started reeling in the frontrunner on the turn. By the time they hit the top of the stretch the homebred filly had taken the lead, widened the margin to five lengths by midstretch, then geared it down to the wire to win by 3 1/4 lengths in hand. In her previous race, AWLEYAA, who is out of the stakes-winning Storm Cat mare, Elrafa Ah, was placed in a Maiden Special Weight at Aqueduct.
