HEAD HEART HOOF Runner-up in Aqueduct Stakes
Monday, February 20, 2012
An earner of over $284,000, including 15 victories, this 6-year-old racetrack veteran earned his first black type when he finished runner-up in the six-furlong Hollie Hughes S. on Aqueduct’s inner track. The son of INTIDAB has now started 42 times, including a 5 1/2-length Maiden Special Weight win at Belmont as a 2-year-old in his second start. In the Hollie Hughes S., this multiple winner at Belmont and Aqueduct was allowed to drop off the early pace after breaking on top. HEAD HEART HOOF began to gain on the front runners in the turn, was four wide turning for home, got to the front by the eighth pole, was collared just inside the sixteenth pole, but dug in to hold the runner-up spot.

Saturday, October 15, 2011
KEEWATIN ICE, a 2-year-old filly by INTIDAB, closed stoutly to place in the one mile $75,000 M2 Technology La Senorita S. on the turf at Retama Park on October 15.
Unhurried in the early going, KEEWATIN ICE rallied on the far turn, then went four wide for the stretch drive and made big strides on the leaders to fall just short by a head and nose. In her previous start, she won the six-furlong Northern Lights Debutante S. on dirt and won a Maiden Special Weight in her racing debut.
2YO INTIDAB Filly KEEWATIN ICE Is Now a Stakes Winner
Sunday, September 04, 2011
KEEWATIN ICE, a 2-year-old filly by INTIDAB, is now two-for-two after winning the six-furlong Northern Lights Debutante S. at Canterbury Park on September 4.
Breaking a little slow from post three, KEEWATIN ICE gained position in the turn by going inside, then swung out three wide into the stretch and wore down the leaders to win going away by 1 1/4 lengths. In her debut on July 31, she won a five-furlong Maiden Special Weight, again driving clear late to pull away and win by two lengths.
Among his other stakes winners, INTIDAB is the sire of the multiple graded stakes-winning juvenile Greater Good, who also won the Rebel S.-G3.at three and earned $546,720.
INTIDAB Veteran HAMMOCK Wins Battle at Saratoga
Wednesday, August 31, 2011
Stakes-placed turf veteran HAMMOCK, a 7-year-old son of INTIDAB, showed that he's not quite ready for retirement after taking a one-mile turf event at Saratoga on August 31.
Settling toward the rear behind a very slow pace for the first four furlongs, the eldest in the field quickly engaged the frontrunners and it became a grueling battle from there to the finish line with HAMMOCK stretching his neck out at the wire for the win. Bred by Gallagher's Stud, he races for Niall Brennan and Anthony Mitola and is trained by Richard Schosberg.
An earner of nearly $214,000, it was HAMMOCK's fifth career win in 24 starts, and second win at Saratoga. In fact, he has started at Saratoga every year he has raced, winning a Maiden Special Weight there in his second career start back in 2007. You'd say he kind of prefers Saratoga because he also was third in an allowance in '08, second in an allowance in '09, with another third in 2010. His other accomplishments on the track include a stakes placing at Aqueduct at age five, three allowance or allowance/optional claiming wins at Belmont Park and two other top three finishes at Aqueduct.
DABNABIT Chalks up His Third Stakes Victory
Sunday, August 21, 2011
DABNABIT, a 6-year-old son of INTIDAB, added another stakes win to his credentials when he took the six-furlong Colts Neck H. at Monmouth Park on August 21.
Dueling with another early in the race, DABNABIT briefly lost the lead but battled back along the inside and prevailed by 1/2 length. It was his third stakes victory of his career and second of 2011. He now has earnings of $272,011 for his owner/breeder G. J. Stables.
