ANIMATION MASTER (00 c, o/o Ly Dawg, by Lyphard) scored his first known victory at Taipa in Macau. Going 1050 meters, or approximately 5 1/2 furlongs, he topped a field of 12 by a length. He got the distance in a swift 1:04. Bred in the U.S., ANIMATION MASTER (formerly named Itsallkarma, but unraced in the U.S.) is trained by V. Chong. No additional details are available at this time.

Winning for the third time in just five weeks, THREE STEPS AHEAD (01 c, o/o Sesame, by El Gran Senor) captured another starter allowance at Churchill Downs. The dark bay or brown 4-year-old stalked the pace while four wide throughout much of the 1 1/4 mile race, then made a move a move to the front around the final quarter mile. He opened up a daylight lead but was really tested when asked to hold off a relentless closer, finally winning by a nose. Fresh off a 13-length victory at Keeneland, THREE STEPS AHEAD (01 c, o/o Sesame, by El Gran Senor) took his winning form into a starter allowance at Churchill Downs. He did not disappoint. Never far off the early pace of the 1 1/8 mile race, the 4-year-old made his move while four wide entering the lane and took over to win by a length under a hand ride. I'M ANGELA (00 f, o/o Elegant Express, by El Corazon) notched the sixth win of her career in a six furlong event at Hawthorne. The 5-year-old set all the pace while under pressure from an opponent and held off a rushing closer by three-quarters of a length at the wire. Going 1 1/8 miles on the dirt, the son of KAYRAWAN forced the early pace while three wide, then took over and romped home over a muddy but sealed track. KAYRAWAN DAUGHTER IS SESSION-TOPPER AT OBS

RIVER THAMES (01 f, o/o Water Course, by Irish River (FR)), a lightly-raced 4-year-old filly by KAYRAWAN who broke her maiden in August, topped Friday's session of the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2005 Fall Mixed Sale. Consigned by Summerfield (Francis and Barbara Vanlangendonck), agent, RIVER THAMES was purchased for $72,000 by Jack Goldthorpe. She is a half-sister to the September 17 Kentucky Cup Juvenile S.-G3 winner Stream Cat.

BIG K (02 c, o/o Bold an Fast, by Personal Flag) won for the second time in three weeks at Turfway Park. The 3-year-old was at the back of the pack early in the 6 1/2 furlong race before advancing four wide. He closed determinedly in the stretch for a half length victory. It was his fourth lifetime win. Bred in Kentucky by Tim Napier, BIG K races for Joanie M. Cook, who also handles conditioning duties.

I'M ANGELA (00 f, o/o Elegant Express, by El Corazon) stumbled at the start of this six furlong race at Arlington Park. She recovered quickly to race just off the pace while three wide and burst through to the lead in late stretch. The 5-year-old won by 1 3/4 lengths as the favorite. Bred in Florida by James DiVito, I'M ANGELA was winning for the fifth time in her career. She races for Sure Thing Stables LLC and is trained by Richard R. Scherer.

BIG K (02 c, o/o Bold an Fast, by Personal Flag) ran in the opening days of Turfway Park's debut of the new Polytrack surface and found the going to his liking, coming home a heart-stopping winner. The sophomore colt battled on the lead during the first half-mile of the eight furlong race, then dropped back in the stretch. He came on again in the last strides to register a half-length victory. Bred in Kentucky by Tim Napier, BIG K races for Sherry and Tim Napier and is trained by William J. Napier.

CHICKEN TRACKS (99 f, o/o Aube, by Slewpy) went into this five furlong race at North Dakota Horse Park as the bettor's favorite and performed as such. She broke on top, set all the pace, and powered home a 4 3/4 length winner. Bred in Kentucky by John T. L. Jones Jr., the gray or roan daughter of KAYRAWAN races for Capriole Investments LLC. Stephen Kane is her trainer.

Lightly-raced RIVER THAMES (01 f, o/o Water Course, by Irish River (FR)) broke her maiden at Calder Race Course in an impressive performance. The 4-year-old daughter of KAYRAWAN set all the pace in the 5 1/2 furlong dirt race and brushed off a stiff challenge on the turn. She drew off in the stretch, romping home clear by 7 1/4 lengths as the bettor's choice. Bred in Kentucky by Mathews Breeding and Racing Ltd., she campaigns for Matthews Stable and is trained by Michael K. McDonald.

DUMAANI AND KAYRAWAN RETURNING TO SHADWELL

Not long after it was announced INTIDAB would be returning to stand at Shadwell's Nashwan Stud near Lexington, Ky., the Shadwell stallion roster was bolstered again to include DUMAANI and KAYRAWAN. The two latter sires will each stand for $2,500 during the 2006 breeding season.

The two impeccably-bred stallions are already established sires. DUMAANI has his sixth crop of 2-year-olds going to the track this year. He has eight stakes horses, over 70 individual winners, and nearly $3.5 million in progeny earnings. KAYRAWAN also has his sixth crop of juveniles this year and has already had five stakes horses, over 40 winners, and nearly $2.5 million in earnings from smaller crops.

Multiple graded stakes winner DUMAANI is a millionaire who won blacktype events in the U.S., England, and Japan. The son of sire of sires Danzig is out of the Lord Gayle mare Desirable (IRE), a G1 winner in England. He is a half-brother to 1,000 Guineas-G1 and Prix Marcel Boussac-G1 winner Shadayid and also is a full brother to additional group winner Fath.

KAYRAWAN's victories, in the U.S., England, and Dubai, included the highly-regarded Tom Fool H.-G2. He is by the incomparable Mr. Prospector and out of multiple group winner Muhbubh, a daughter of Blushing Groom (FR).
