March 28, 2008:
UTAH BEACH
, the 3-year-old son of DUMAANI, broke his maiden in wire-to-wire fashion in the 6th race at Bay Meadows going one mile over the fast main track.

The chestnut colt was sharp out of post four and in just a few strides, he cleared the field and took the lead. Maintaining a steady pace throughout, he was mildly challenge three furlongs out. He turned that back with a quick burst of speed and the galloped in the rest of the way to win by gwo lengths.

UTAH BEACH races was bred by Gary and Marlene Howard and Bruce Dunmore who race the colt together. Trained by Steve Miyadi, he is out of With Approval mare, Greg's Girl.

March 23, 2008:
ALLEGRO CON FUOCO
, the 4-year-old daughter of DUMAANI, scored the second victory of her career in the 3rd race at Sunland Park going one mile over the fast main track at Sunland Park.

The bay filly was away well but drifted wide around the first turn. Settling two lengths away from the leader down the backstretch while racing out in the four patch, she stayed wide as she commenced her bid around the far turn. She took aim on the leader, who was not stopping and caught her in the final strides  to win by a half-length.

The second foal from the winning Continue to Fire mare, Parlay to Fire, ALLEGRO CON FUOCO, she races for her breeder, Michael Riley. She is trained by Clark Spencer.

January 7, 2008:
MEL MAANI
began her 2008 racing season with a victory in the 7th race at Golden Gate going six furlongs over the Tapeta.

The daughter of DUMAANI was away well from the inside post and track the pace with an inside trip down the backstretch and around the turn. Moving off the rail and to the extreme outside for the stretch drive, she took the lead inside the sixteenth pole and went on to win by three-quarters of a length.

MEL MAANI has won four of her nine career starts. She races for Leon Scott and she is trained by William Morey, Jr. Bred in California by Michael Sheehan and Ellen Sheehan, she is out of the Rubiano mare, La Melinite.    

December 30, 2007:
HOLY MAMACITA
closed out her 2007 campaign with a victory going a mile and one-sixteenth over the Tapeta surface in the 1st race at Golden Gate Fields.

The 3-year-old DUMAANI filly was away well and she rated midpack for the first five furlongs. She began to make her move, but was caught in traffic and had to wait to get out. A hole opened for her with a two furlongs to run and she dashed on through, catching the leaders passing the eighth pole and she went on to win by two and one-half lengths.

HOLY MAMACITA has won or placed in fourteen of her seventeen career starts. She races for Amy Marie Stewart and is trained by Steve Miyadi.

December 20, 2007:
DUMTELL
, the 6-year-old daughter of DUMAANI, earned a hard fought, frontrunning victory in the 8th race at Sunland Park going five and one-half furlongs over the fast track.

DUMTELL dashed out of the inside post and was immediately engaged in a battle for the lead. Shaking clear by a length, her early pace nemisis came back to challenge again from the eighth pole home and DUMTELL dug in and held her off to win by a half length.

Racing for the partnership of James Ashcroft and Bridge Farm LLC, she is trained by Dennis Hall. Produced by the Premiership mare, Tellitlikeitis, she was bred in Iowa by Okoboji Racing Stables II.

December 6, 2007:
MEL MAANI
turned in a polished victory in the 5th race at Golden Gate Fields going six furlongs over the Tapeta surface.

The 4-year-old DUMAANI filly could easily taken the early lead, but let a speedier type go on as she galloped along under a snug hold in second. She moved up to challenge with little urging around the turn, took the lead at the top of the stretch drew away to win easily by four lengths.

MEL MAANI was bred by Michael and Ellen Sheehan in California and she is out of the Rubiano mare, La Melinite. Winning for the third time in eight career starts, she races for Leon Scott and she is trained by William Morey, Jr.

September 22, 2007:
SIR CASPER
, the 5-year-old son of DUMAANI, took over with two furlongs to run and gamely his lead to the wire to win the 1st race at Thistledown going six furlongs over the fast main track.

SIR CASPER rated three lengths off the pace in the early going. Closing in, he took over around the turn, opened up and then held off a late closer to win by a neck.

SIR CASPER races for Mark Benedick and Ron Leko and he is trained by Jeffery Radosevich. Bred in Ohio by Martha Parsons, he is out of the winning Full Pocket mare, No Tide.

September 21, 2007:
DUMTELL
, the daughter of DUMAANI, took the field wire-to-wire in the 1st race at the Downs at Albuquerque, going six furlongs over the sloppy track.

DUMTELL jumped away from post four and immediately was involve in the pace battle. Maintaining a half-length lead through the five furlongs, she began to widen her lead passing the eighth pole and she went on to win by three and one-quarter lengths.

DUMTELL races for James Ashcroft and Bridge Farm LLC and she is trained by Dennis Hall. Bred in Iowa by Okoboji Racing Stables II, she is the fourth foal from the Premiership mare, Tellitlikeitis.

September 21, 2007:
HOLA MAMACITA
had some trouble along the way to her victory in the 4th race at Bay Meadows going a mile and one-sixteenth over the fast main track.

The daughter of DUMAANI found her first bit of trouble around the first turn, when she had to check just off the leaders, found herself pinched between horses and she lost her position and a couple of lengths. She settled down the backstretch, but as she was readying to make her move around the final turn, she was boxed in along the rail and had to wait for room. When nothing opened inside, she had to go out to the four path to get a clear lane for the stretch drive. She closed stoutly and battled the leader to the wire, gaining the advantage late to win by a half-length.

Bred by Gary Howard, Marlene Howard, Bruce Dunmore and J. F. Poppler, she is the second foal from the multiple stakes-placed Caros Love mare, Caros Risky Gal. She races for Amy Marie Stewart and she is trained by Steve Miyadi.

September 2, 2007:
HOBGOBLIN
, the son of DUMAANI, took the field wire-to-wire to win the 4th race at the newly opened Presque Isle Downs near Erie, PA.

Sent to the lead in the six and one-half furlong dash over the Tapeta main track, HOBGOBLIN dueled through the opening quarter, but proved his superiority quickly on this day. More than two lengths in front after a half, he opened up a six length lead in the stretch and the closers could only cut that margin in half at the wire.

HOBGOBLIN races for Bridget Sipp and he is trained by Burton Sipp. Bred in California by Marlene and Gary Howard of Hideaway Farm and Bruce Dunmore, she is the second foal from the With Approval mare, Greg's Girl.

August 26, 2007:
MEL MAANI, the 3-year-old daughter of DUMAANI, made a strong stretch run to win the opener at Bay Meadows going five and one-half furlongs over the fast main track.

MEL MAANI let the early speed go on in the early stages. She closed in coming off the turn, moved outside to challenge and caught the leader inside the eighth pole. She dug in and continued on to win by two lengths.

July 22, 2007:
SIR CASPER
made a strong bid at the top of the stretch that carried him to victory in the 12th race at Thistledown going five furlongs over the fast main track.

The son of DUMAANI did not have the early foot of the pacesetters through the opening three furlongs, but he began his best running around the turn. Finding room between horses at the top of the stretch, he took the lead and drove to the wire to win by three and one-half lengths.

SIR CASPER was scoring his sixth career win. He races for the partnership of Ronald Leko and Mark Benedick and he is trained by Jeffrey Radosevich. Produced by the winning and stakes-producing Full Pocket mare, No Tide, he was bred in Ohio by Martha Parsons.

June 15, 2007:
MEL MAANI
made her second start a winning one, breaking her maiden going five furlongs in the 8th race at Stockton over the fast main track.

The daughter of DUMAANI popped right out of the gate and was quicker than all but one. She moved off the rail to challege around the turn and got carried out to the six path at the top of the stretch. She put away the pacesetter and held off the closers to win by a three-quarters of a length.

MEL MAANI was bred by Michael and Ellen Sheehan in California. She is the second foal from the winning Rubiano. She races for Leon Scott and she is trained by William Morey, Jr.

FRAMES DEPOT (02 c, o/o Miss Cougar, by Cougar II) captured a 1650 meter (or about one mile and 70 yard) handicap at Happy Valley in Hong Kong. Over a good to firm course, he defeated a field of 12 by 1 3/4 lengths. Bred in the U.S., FRAMES DEPOT was originally named Cougar Star. He races in the colors of Mr. and Mrs. Lai Tin-kiu and is trained by Ng Ting-keung.

HOLA MAMACITA (04 f, o/o Caros Risky Gal, by Caros Love) put an exclamation point on her maiden victory, winning by a resounding five lengths as the favorite. Going six furlongs at Golden Gate Fields, she stalked the pace all the way to the turn. When the daughter of DUMAANI saw a hole open, she shot through it and took command with authority. She absolutely cruised to the wire. HOLA MAMACITA was bred in California by Gary and Marlene Howard, Bruce Dunmore, and J. F. Poppler. The sophomore filly races for Amy Marie Stewart and is trained by Steven Miyadi.

May 21, 2007

SIR CASPER (02 c, o/o No Tide, by Full Pocket) won for the second time in a month, capturing a six furlong race at Mountaineer Park. He was hustled to sit just off the lead in the early going, then went four wide into the turn. The 5-year-old son of DUMAANI tackled the frontrunner and dueled down the lane. As is his typical style of winning, he pulled clear late for a 2 1/4 length victory. Bred in Ohio by Martha Parsons, SIR CASPER is campaigned by Ronald Leko and Mark Benedick. He is trained by Jeffrey Radosevich.

May 18, 2007

HOBGOBLIN (03 c, o/o Greg's Girl, by With Approval) broke his maiden on Hollywood Park's all-weather track. Going six furlongs, the gray or roan California-bred stalked the pace from the inside. He made a move while three wide leaving the turn and responded to the challenge of his rivals by making it two lengths under the wire. The son of DUMAANI won as the favorite, getting the distance in a nice 1:10 2/5. HOBGOBLIN races as a homebred for Gary and Marlene Howard and Bruce Dunmore. Mike Harrington handles the California-bred's conditioning.

May 12, 2007

On a clear day over the timbers at Percy Warner, Woodmont (00 c, o/o Crystal Woods, by Woodman) registered his first stakes performance, finishing second in the $75,000 Mason Houghland Memorial Timber S. The son of DUMAANI raced unhurried near the back of the field for the first two miles of the three mile race, then made a strong move through rivals to advance. The 7-year-old passed all but one to secure a good runner-up finish and the first blacktype on his record. Bred in the U.S. by William A. Kelly, WOODMONT races for Jubilee Stables and is trained by Dabney Thompson.

Veteran campaigner KRISSBEQUICK (01 c, o/o Canadian Kris, by Kris S.) tallied the 12th win of his career by an astounding 15 1/4 lengths. Going six furlongs on the dirt at Mountaineer Park, the 6-year-old bobbled at the break as the favorite. He suddenly made a rush for the lead on the turn and was sent four wide to get there. The son of DUMAANI quickly blew by his rivals and galloped home under wraps for a victory by the stunning margin. Marco Gazzani MD bred KRISSBEQUICK in Kentucky. He races for Ruberto Racing Stable Inc. and is trained by Louis Ruberto Jr.

ALLEGRO CON FUOCO (04 f, o/o Parlay to Fire, by Continue to Fire) became the second winner in as many days for DUMAANI when she flew home by six lengths in a maiden race at Sunland Park. The sophomore filly stalked the leaders while in fifth position for much of the six furlong maiden. She made her bid nearing the eighth pole, roaring by her opponents for the six length triumph. Michael J. Riley bred ALLEGRO CON FUOCO in California and the filly races as a homebred for him. Clark Spencer is her trainer.

April 19, 2007

SIR CASPER (02 c, o/o No Tide, by Full Pocket) won for the fourth time when he tallied a six furlong sprint at Thistledown. Well placed and close to the leaders early, the son of DUMAANI went four wide into the stretch to find clear sailing for his rally. He drew clear late for a one length victory. Bred in Ohio by Martha Parsons, SIR CASPER races for Ronald Leko. He is trained by Jeffrey Radosevich.

TREE LOVER (01 f, o/o Zienat, by Woodman) notched the ninth win of her career when she captured a 5 1/2 furlong contest at Sam Houston Race Park. The daughter of DUMAANI went to post as the favorite and didn't disappoint. She raced midpack on the backstretch and made a move while four wide on the turn. She challenged for the lead passing the quarter pole, tackling the frontrunner and dueling down the stretch. The 6-year-old mare prevailed at the wire, winning by a long neck. Bred in Kentucky by Kenneth L. and Sarah K. Ramsey, TREE LOVER is a Serenity Hills Farm colorbearer. She is trained by Jimmy Ray.
